All of our pupils will be invited to participate in numerous performances throughout the year, including local festivals and a small-scale Christmas production. The highlight of our year however is our annual summer showcase which takes place at the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock. This entails the coming together of all classes to participate in a full-scale performance, which enables pupils to entertain their families and friends, showcase their performance skills and basically, have a blast!

During show time, pupils will gain a true insight to treading the boards in a fun, lively and vibrant atmosphere both on stage and behind the scenes. Pupils will attend up to four additional rehearsals out with our standard weekly classes which usually take place on the weekends leading up to and the evening before the performance. This will consist of two regular rehearsals, a dress rehearsal and a technical rehearsal. Our summer showcase will offer pupils the opportunity to work alongside technical theatre specialists, develop an awareness of sound and lighting, familiarise themselves with the use of radio microphones and perform to a large audience in an attractive, state of the art, professional theatre space. Pupils will have lots of fun back stage in their dressing rooms whilst preparing for their appearances on stage and will master the ultimate skill that is the very quick costume change!!
